The rivers, such as the Humber and Ouse, woodland such as Knaresborough and Pickering forests, and the moors and dales of all three ridings are marked; along with their towns and cities such as York, Leeds, Sheffield and Whitby. The Royal Coat of Arms is displayed in the top right hand corner of this intricate map, whilst at the bottom is a scale of miles.
