He has authored GSM standards and holds 3 patents for his work on smart cards and real-time systems, and is a member of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). Guthery is one of the best known names in the SIM field. Mary J. Cronin is a professor of management at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College, and a noted speaker on electronic commerce and Internet business strategies.
