Comprehensive overview of the technologies that join together the overarching security topics that are important to the world of wireless networking

Wireless Network Security provides a rigorous examination of the principles of network security as applied to a wireless context. Unlike many other books on wireless communication and security, which are used popularly as user manuals, the book also provides detailed analysis and discussion on present and emerging nuances in the field.

To aid in reader comprehension, chapter subsections include problem sets and exercises. 175+ figures illustrate key concepts and ideas throughout the text. Written by four well-qualified authors, sample topics covered in this book include:

Tools and techniques that will become critical success factors for future wireless security professionals
Security models of current and emerging wireless technologies
Strengths and weaknesses of various wireless technologies
Key research efforts in the field of wireless network security

Students studying and professionals working in the field of wireless networking security will find immense value in this book as an all-in-one resource to understand both the theoretical knowledge behind and practical applications of the technologies enabling network security.
