Dr. Lakhveer Singh is presently working as courtesy faculty at Biological and Ecological Engineering Oregon State University, USA. Prior to his joining OSU, he worked more than 3 years as an assistant professor at University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. He received his B.Sc & M.Sc in Chemistry from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla and Punjab University Chandigarh, India, in 2007 & 2009, respectively & PhD in Industrial Chemistry from University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) 2013. He has teaching, research and Industries experience with Universities and Industry in India and Malaysia. His main areas of interest are Bioenergy production, Bioreactors development, Wastewater treatment, MFC and Green Technology. In addition to research activities, he teaches undergraduate courses and guides doctoral students at University Malaysia Pahang. He has a more than 40 number of international publications in high impact journals. His works have been cited 516 times with an h index of 12 and an i10 index of 13. He is a reviewer of Elsevier, Wiley and Springer International journals. Presently he is the editor of Advance in Chemical and Biological Engineering journal, managing editor of International journal of engineering technology (IJETS) and guest editor of International Journal of Energy Engineering. He is also a member of International Water Association (IWA). Dr. Abu Yousuf has completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University Naples Federico II, Italy in 2010 and postdoctoral studies in Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering from University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. He has published more than 25 papers in reputed ISI journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of Bioenergy and Biofuels, Frontier, Switzerland and Peertechz Journal of Biological Research and Development, India. He successfully acomplished 10 research grants including the grants provided by The World Academy of Science (TWAS), Italy, Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia and Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He won UNESCO Prize on Energy for sustainable development in Asia, Jakarta, Indonesia, 2011. He attended the BIOVISION. Next Fellowship Programme at BIOVISION 2013 - the World Life Sciences Forum, Lyon, France, after a selection based on scientific excellence, mobility, involvement in civil society. Currently he is serving as Senior Lecturer at Department of Chemical Engineering & Polymer Science Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Sylhet-3114, Bangladesh. Previously he hold the position of Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. His research area focuses on Biorefinery, Bioenergy and Bioremediation. Dr. Mahapatra is presently working as courtesy faculty at the Department of Biological and Ecological Engineering, Oregon State University, Corvallis, USA. His research in US is on development of Sustainable bioprocess for optimal treatment of process wastewater with adequate bioproduct recovery. His research interest includes Microbial ecology, Environmental bioprocess engineering, Wastewater/Landfill leachate treatment, Nano-scale characterisation, Reactor analysis and design, Algal biofuel and bio-energy, Techno-economics and life cycle assessment. Prior to joining Oregon State University, he was a postdoctoral research associate at IISc from 2014-2016. He has extensive experience in research and industry oriented consultancy projects. He has more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals, scientific reports, book chapters and invited articles. His work has been cited in google scholars more than 510 times with an H index of 11 and i10 index of 12. He has won many awards in international and national forums, exhibitions, conferences and meetings and is a member of American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), Indian Science Congress, Asia Pacific Society on Algal Biotechnology. He is also a reviewer of with famous publishers as Elsevier, Springer, Wiley and Academy of Sciences. Dr. Hong Liu i s a Professor of Biological and Ecological Engineering (BEE) at Oregon State University (OSU). Her main research efforts are in bioenergy production and the development of energy sustainable water and wastewater treatment systems. Dr. Liu is the author and co-author of 7 book chapters and over 60 peer reviewed journal publications with over 14,000 citations and an H-index of 39 (Google Scholar). She was named as a Highly Cited Researcher and listed, among about 3000 researchers worldwide, in The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds in 2014, 2015, and 2016 by Thomson Reuters. She received her Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining the faculty at Oregon State in 2005, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Pennsylvania State University in the Department of Environmental Engineering.
