This rare work of French erotica was first published in 1902. It tells the story of the sexual awakening of the young and adventurous Regine, who is sent on a high seas voyage to Trinidad. Also included is a short story - "The Pangs of Venus".

Regine was first published in 1902. When it was reprinted clandestinely in 1923 the publisher proclaimed that 'Regine is an adorable and precocious girl whose flesh has enjoyed all conceivable sexual pleasures. In her own words she tells of her yearning for lustful satisfaction and she recognizes the truth of the adage - "At the heart every woman is a whore."
